    No more jumpin' in stands after a TD

    :bootyshake: Typical reaction by the NFL, thais league is just ridiculous as far as being paranoid about absolutely nothing. First "Nipplegate" and now this. Two things that the American media blew way out of proportion (not so much the latter) so the NFL - or in the case of Nipplegate, every channel that broadcasts a sporting event live - reacts way too harshly. It's just dumb. The fans are the only ones that lose in this one, again.
    Terrell Owens: The most overrated player in professional sports. Randy Moss: The greatest player in professional sports.

    I guess the Packers will have to go to the Lamboo kneel. Something they need to get used to now that the "glory days" are coming to an end

    I had to edit this. I DON'T KNOW IF the eagles GOT FINED. I do know that the Colts players got fined for this exact same thing a few weeks back, after they scored one of there many TDs. "the butt bump"

    UnBelievable. I like seeing the players giving back to the fans. That is assanine to punish the NFL for the NBA's mishaps. :angryfire:

    In respose to the fiasco in detroit (NBA) last week, the NFL will no longer allow players to jump in the stands. If done, it will be a penalty on the kickoff. I don't know how popular this is in Minn. due to the tall walls near the endzone, but it has caught on throughout the NFL over the last 10 years or so. Like it or not, it is at least somewhat fair to say the home fans did enjoy the jesture.

    In light of all this, I'll offer the following;

    Dear NFL,
    Thanks for taking a knee-jerk reaction to a problem that never existed.

    Dear NBA,
    Thanks for finally taking a reaction to a problem that has allways existed.

    Dear Santa,
    Please make ESPN stop showing NBA "highlights". It's taking up good commercial time.

    I like the NBA.

    I like the Highlights.

    I don't like the KNEEJERK reaction that they are doing. But the truth is that the reason why the NFL doesn't have the problems like the NBA is because they are the no fun league. They nip it in the bud right away.

    I like Tags, I like Stern, but Selig can go to h. e. double hockey sticks.

    Baseball did nothing and has done nothing. They don't even know they have a problem. They just punish after the fact. No insight or vision. Totally out of touch.

    Also, has anyone found anything to substantiate this as a penalty for jumping into the stands. I have been looking all week and haven't found one word on the subject. Also this weekend, I saw players jump in the stand and not get flagged.
