I am not sure what the organization did to Goodell, but maybe they didn't play ball on some NFL agenda and are now paying the price. I have one theory but it would be a bit too controversial to bring up.
Does it have anything to do with Goodell retaliating against the Vikings because the Williams wall is fighting the suspensions?

How does the timing of all the fines correlate to the timing when the controversy over the water pills first cropped up?
    Nope, not even close
    Spill it.
If I thought you could handle it I would.

    Re: No fine for Cherilus

Although the hit was a bit tacky, it was within the league rules.
Why or why would anyone think there should have been a fine?

The players seem to have a way of dealing with this type of stuff on thier own.
My guess is, unless Cheilus makes the effort to apologize to HA, the youngster will get his when the time presents itself.
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.

While we're on the subject of "non- fines" for our opponents, read the last sentence in this article:
    It isn't working for me..
This is the last sentences in the article:

Olympic aspirations: Robison said he likely will ask coach Brad Childress if he can participate in some track meets to compete in the shot put during the offseason.

Robison, the Big 12 Conference shot put champion in 2005 and 2006, wants to compete in the event after his NFL career is over.

"It's something I want to pursue, after I'm done (with football)," he said. "It's something you can do into your 40s.

"I love it," said Robison, who finished fourth at the 2006 U.S. Olympic Trials. "If I got a shot at the Olympics, why not?"
It's true, you can do shot put for a very long time. Plus, shot put is a great way to gain strength and explosiveness. I imagine that it will help him be a better player too..
The article(s) were separated. The one entitled "Tape shows Tampa Bay Buccaneer targeting Minnesota Vikings' Adrian Peterson was Cato June"... has a last line that reads...,"June was not fined for the hit, according to a league spokesman."
