    Re: No fine for Cherilus

I agree with the Cherilus not getting fined.
It was a cheap, but legal, hit.

However, how in the hell can they fine Evans for a facemask that DIDN'T HAPPEN?
I honestly don't think that they are reviewing the tapes at all. They are looking at the game sheets and seeing a face mask penalty, and automatically fining the player.

The NFL is really turning into a poorly run organization.

These fines are very unnessisary.. has an opposing player been fined against us yet?

Yes, Norris received the same fine that Harris did.
And he was none too happy about it...

LMAO, I wasn't expecting that picture when I was scrolling down the page!

I hate to feel that the Vikings are being treated unfairly. We have no proof of this...only a nagging feeling that it is so.

But if the tables were turned, and McKinnie did this same exact block on one of the Lions' linemen (any one, not just their top sack guy), do we believe that McKinnie would not have been fined? I really can't say with absolute certainty that he would not have been fined. That's a lousy feeling.

I am not sure what the organization did to Goodell, but maybe they didn't play ball on some NFL agenda and are now paying the price. I have one theory but it would be a bit too controversial to bring up.

I do agree that it was a legal hit and maybe doesnt deserve a fine but I mean cmon now Allen was on the other side of the field chasing a play that was thrown downfield as he was being hit anyway, just a very uncalled for shot especially at the knee. This is supposed to be a brotherhood league you take care of eachother, thats just straight up tryin to take a shot at a good player in my opinion.
