No Clarett!
It's official. Maurice Clarett is not allowed to enter the NFL draft this weekend. The Supreme Court chose not to overturn the lower court's decision. He has to wait! Check out espn.com.

I think its good all around... because if you make the exception for Williams then you have to make it for everyone

No Clarett!
I think this was a good ruleing. Why should the NFL have to change the rules that have served them well thru the years? For some kid who could'nt follow the the rule of not takeing money while in school. And then not telling the truth about it when asked. Thats why he can't go back to school and play football. It's not the NFL's fault that he took it upon himself to drop out of school. Plus all he has to do is wait till next year and he can enter the draft. All he did was waste his and the NFL's money on a bunch of lawyers. TUFF LUCK Clarett! There's always next year! :salute:

I think this is better for both clarett and Williams, If clarett goes to the CFL and proves himeself. Which I think he can. you all can bag clarett all you want but the kid had skills. He would go much higher in the draft and make a hell of a lot more money. Also Williams after another year of college would be gauranteed top 3 right now a likely top 10.

Well as alot of you guys should know i did not like Clarett from the begining, I thought it was a slap in the face to the NFL to have him try to get in a yr early even if he did get drafted he wouldent make it very far, he should of been a FOOTBALL PLAYER and played last yr and this coming yr and he prolly would of been taken in the top 10 now he either goes in the supplemental draft or goes to CFL, this was one of the stupidest moves that kid could make now he screwed up his football career.
As for Mike Williams he just followed claretts shadow i feel bad for him in the fact that i dont think he can return to college or can he? IDK how that goes but i agree he could of been a force in the Nfl this yr and now he cant go..but when the times right there will be a team thats ready for him! :salute:Darold "PaPa" Gustafson 1927-2004, Carol Gustafson 1935-2005, U guys are back together in Heaven, We Miss u!!
