    Re: No blame for Daunte?

i think they talk to daunte quite a bit, johnson probably has alot to say being the vet that he is, but when you throw 5 int's, i dont think daunte wants to talk to anyone nor does anyone want to talk to him

    Re: No blame for Daunte?

I would love Linehan to be our next coach if we continue this down spiral. I just wonder what the hell is going through Daunte's head on every snap because he looks bad on EVERY snap, even when he is handing the ball off ...
It started with the Eagles game last year in the playoffs that he started looking like he was trying to overanalyze everything and not just let it rip like someone with his talent should be doing.
There is no doubt this team has the talent to make plays without Moss, and for the love of whatever God anyone here believes in, they need to get going so I don't have to hear all my co-workers saying every-f*ing-day how we "Miss Moss dontcha?" ... Daunte really was all Rany wasn't he?", etc.

I think he is trying to say that he needs Linehan and Frerotte back to help and that Johnson is not helping him and that Loney is an offensive line coach trying to call plays ... which oddly enough is also what our coach is ... or maybe he is an idiot and thinks we still have Frerotte, I don't know ... I have never really talked to Paul ... he could be one egg short of a dozen, but then he just needs to go to the gorcery store and get another dozen and he will have 11 to spare ... see what I am saying ... I sure as hell don't

Culpepper is not an accurate passer and thats killing us. Randy would go get any ball that Pep threw up. I've always thought that hes not an accurate passer and we could really use one about right now

His career completion percentage (64.3) and his career rating (91.5) suggest that this is a foolish statement made by someone who thinks that QBs throw all of their passes to one receiver.
Daunte definitely lets the ball get away here and there (as do all QBs), but calling him inaccurate (he is even 61.4 percent this season) is just incorrect.

Daunte has part of the blame, but its not like this guy got bad over night...theres something behind the sceens that is causing this kinda play outta him
Yes there is. He doesn't have Randy Moss's coat tail to ride anymore

Ya same here PPE, I think daunte is facing defenses he hasnt played against in awhile. Defenses now can cover us. They can stack the line with 8 and cover our WR's no problem, cuz there not worring about moss. The loss of Linehan has really shown its mark. Culpepper is still in the top 3 qb's in the nfl, and he does deserve blame, but come on, what person in here beleives that this guy needs to be cut? noone...we gotta hope he can bounce back and see things clearly.
Top 3 QB'S????? Did you get into Onterio's stash??
