RE Nick Rogers, who was moved to end from outside linebacker, is working diligently to prepare himself at his new position, which he played in college, and improve his strength. The team would like him to add 5 to 10 pounds of muscle to his 6-2, 260-pound frame. If he doesn't start, he still will have a major role as a third-down pass rusher.

I'm not quite sure why they made the move to move him to RE i thought he was a good LB (not used nearly enough last year) i like his quickness and speed hes a good pass rusher and a good tackler, i wouldn't mind seeing him start next year if he gets up around 260 there is quite a few DE's that are only 250 (Johnstone and biga bia milla)

I would like to see rogers get his chance at the position he played in college and it sounds like hes workin hard to get ready, I can see him getting nine or ten sacks next year

Well. I don't know about 9 or 10 sacks, but if he is already 260 and looking to add 5 to 10 pounds, he certainly has the size to play end. If he can get that big and still maintain his speed he could be an every down player and the Vikes solution to their pass rushing problems. He played well at LB when he got the chance. Let's hope he plays just as well at end.

He will likely get his chance with Mixon's four game suspension.
