NFL record for Daunte still in reach
It isn't extremely likely, but Daunte still has a shot at setting the all-time NFL record for completion percentage in a single season. The current record is held by Ken Anderson of the Cincinnati Bengals, and is 70.550%. Daunte is currently at 69.841%, and would need an awesome game on Sunday to set the record. Here are some of the completion-attempt ratios that would give Daunte the record:
23-27
25-30
27-33
29-36
32-40
34-43
37-47
Of course, I'll take a playoff berth over a record any day. Just win, baby!

Nice stat work, Purplepat. I have been keeping a half an eye that number, and wondering. But, ya, just win.

Still has Marino's total QB yardage in a season in reach as well.

To that end, I wonder if/how much Peyton Manning will play on Sunday, seeing as how he is about 150 yds. ahead of Daunte right now.

Actually Pep has over 200 yards more. Manning has 4589 all purpose yds, Pep has 4800.

I would be a lot happier about Peps personal records if the team record matched them like Mannings do. :(

Sorry, I was thinking about passing yardage, not total yardage.
