I mean... even if other teams wouldn't make trades with us, even if they do hate us... isn't that the idea?

Just using the reasons he gave us, shouldn't other teams not want us to succeed?

One big difference is the state of the league. The NFL is very popular and has experienced an average annual growth of over 10% a year for the last decade or more. You can say no one can afford to build one of these stadiums on their own but if you can afford to buy a team that costs nearly a billion dollars you can afford to house them too.
I think the state should fight back starting immediately. Pass heavy taxes on everything NFL related, put that money in a lock box and give it to ziggy as a christmas present.

Actually, the NFL probably hates the Raiders. Anyways, when Favre was on the block in Green Bay, the Packers said if the Jets trade Favre to anyone in the NFC North, then that team would have to give up 3 1st rounders. It wasn't just the Vikings he couldn't go to. If the Bears or Lions got Favre from NY, they would have to give up the picks as well.....just to clarify
