    If you're a Vikings fan, do you watch today's NFL conference championship games and feel encouraged, or depressed?

    The right answer is probably "Both."

    Observation: The Vikings pounded two of the final four teams this season, whipping San Diego at home and the Giants on the road.

    If popular opinion dictated a team's decisions, Norv Turner and Eli Manning both would have been fired after facing the Vikings. Now they've taken their teams to within one victory of the Super Bowl...

    Big deal if we beat two out of the four. We lost twice to the unmentionables and would've got spanked by the last one.

    I get the most pissed off looks from people with my VKG 4 LFE Wisconsin license plate, and I LOVE IT!!

    Its not a problem with me that we can beat good teams. Thats something to look foward to next year.

    2-2 is better then 0-4.

    I guess I call it a spilt we beat 2 out of the 4 elites I guess thats progress.
    It also says we gotta a ways to go to get to that Big Dance.

    I'm not saying that is doesn't matter, but I would much rather be in their shoes this weekend than sittin' at home like we are.
