Well at this rate both Zygi and the purists will be happy as they may yet get the open-air stadium that they desire. There will be a loss of potential income as no roof will limit the times that it could be used for other events apart from football but I'm sure that the state won't miss the $$$ that they'll also be missing.. assuming the short sighted

So apparently we jumped from $675 mil last Spring to $800 mil because the $675 number they were using was already about 2 years old.
Not a good way to encourage confidence and good will with the legislature or the voters.

Last year it was noted several times that the estimates were (at that time) one year old, and the cost would be going up due to inflation and rising construction costs.
It has nothing to do with good will because the Vikings made it clear several times.

What the legislature should take away from this is the realization that every year they sit on their hands is going to cost the state another $60 million or so...
