NFC Wild Card team could have losing record!

If everything goes according to Hoyle tonight, the Packers will beat the Rams. That means there would be a tie between the Rams and Giants at 5-6 for the final wild card spot.

This would also give a lot of hope to the multitude of NFC teams sitting at 4-7 right now, that they might only be one win away from the final wild card spot! The Lions, Bears, Buccaneers, Panthers, Saints, Cowboys, and Cardinals are all sitting at 4-7. Arizona may actually be a sleeper here. They play at Detroit, host San Francisco, host St. Louis, visit Seattle, and finish at home against Tampa Bay. They have already beaten the Giants and the Seahawks this season, and the Cardinals play pretty well at home.

After tonight, the Rams host the Eagles and Jets, and play the resurgent Panthers and the Cardinals on the road. If they lose tonight, it isn't too hard to envision the Rams possibly losing three of those games to finish with a losing record. New York's road is not easy either; they must travel to Baltimore, Cincinnati, & Washington, and host the Steelers. There are probably at least two losses in there, maybe three.
