Thread: NFC Playoff picture

Heres how it stands currently:

Division Leaders:
Eagles 10-1
Vikings 7-4
Falcons 9-2
Seahawks 6-5

Wildcard (2 teams):
Packers 6-4 *Play tonight
Rams 5-5 *Play tonight

Contenders:
Giants 5-6
7 Teams at 4-7

Alright, all that said.. after tonight the second wildcard will either be 6-5 or 5-6!!! 2 teams in the ENTIRE NFC are out of the playoffs. That is Crazy! Its a 12 team race (excluding the Eagles and Falcons)!!!

THE NFL has accomplished what it started years ago.

I can't belive that a .500 team (or even a sub .500 team) may make the playoffs. Just shows how bad the NFC is this year.

It has happened since the wild card. It looks worse because of the lopsided AFC/NFC play this year.

Don't ask me to name the teams but I remember 8-8 teams making the playoffs.

I don't have any memory of 8-8 teams making the playoffs...but that's just me.

And, the lopsided AFC/NFC play is what makes it so bad this year. It's a sad thing that teams at 4-7 are still in playoff contention for that last wildcard spot. There's just such a dropoff from the good teams to the bad teams in the NFC, and the AFC just dosen't have that.

But, I think an NFC team will win the Super Bowl.

on the topic of hovan..... what do u think the vikes should do w/ a guy like him? im impressed w/ kevin williaims and steve martins in his 9th year, hes gettin kinda old.... do u go 4 someone in the draft or free agency or do u keep hovan?? ur predictions.
