Next 5 games after the bye week

Well, now it gets tougher after the bye week. The Vikes have to play at Chicago, at Dallas, Philly and San Diego at home, then at Lambeau. Realistically, I do not see us winning more than one or two and we could possibly lose all 5 and be 1-8 by the time we play the Raiders.

We just aren't a very good football team right now and I think this Bye couldn't have come at a better time for us. We need to regroup, but we have dug ourselves a pretty big hole and the schedule isn't going to be easy on us.

At this rate, we should get a pretty high draft pick in next year's draft. Man, I am really discouraged about the team right now....things have GOT to get better around here!

You do realize that Chicago and San Diego both suck this year don't you it pretty much the same as the one we just went through some good teams some bad or average.

Yeah...it gets tough....That's the NFL. What can you do except play the games as they come. The sad part of this to me is that I truly believe that several players/coaches already share this feeling too. It showed up again in the second half of todays game. When you go into a game or a half already believing you are inferior to the competition how can you expect to win without luck??? The top NFL teams make there own luck...They hit the field believing they can win any game and beat any opponent. I have not seen that attitude in this team for a long time now.

    Cheers! Frostbite

People are underestamateing Oakland to....so we could very well be 1-9 and the joke of the NFL. How embarresing.

I hope we pull off at least 3 wins though out of that strech

Well, SD just got their butts handed to them by KC, they are 1-3, Chicago is 1-3, these are not the same teams they were last year.

    Yeah, that's true, Vikesfan.
Unfortunately, right now, EVERYONE seems like they are a tough opponent though.

We'll see if Philadelphia joins that club tonight as well.

And with the Number one overall pick, the Minnesota Vikings select Colt Brennan from the Univeristy of Hawaii.

I still have hope. The Vikes go into the bye week with very few injuries, so they should be back full strength and rested. The coaching staff has an extra week to look at film (and reread "Coaching for Dummies" ;D) The defense keeps them in every game, so with a few breaks they could surprise some of those teams.
