Still more evidence that his knee impacted what he could do last year.

Agree......Cats that will benifit from LNAD's abilities (if he stays in the scheme).....

    a.
Rice - Big target over the middle.
Short to intermediate routes, especially in the Redzone.
    b.
    B-wade/PH - Quick slants.
    c.

I dunno... Favre is also the King of the Play action... with AD beating them up on the ground and PH killing them with slants and YAC... I can see BB getting a lot of single coverage deep.
Someone like BB's job is to beat 1 on 1 coverage deep... it's Favre's job to take advantage of those opportunities when he does.

Lets face it, with better QB play our entire offense will look better and be much more rounded in all aspects, running, short throws, deep balls.
Our line will look better and if our line actually does improve with the new additions, our O has the potential to be scary good.
There will be plenty of catches, yards, and scores to go around!

We will get some deep pass opportunities, but we are a grind it out type of team. We want long sustained drive's that demoralize the other team. If Farve cannot make ALL the throws he will not be playing, so we are gonna take some downfield shots. They will be set up with our power rushing attack, and Farve's ability to get the ball out quickly on short route's. Those still hoping for the 98' Vikes, haven't been paying attention. We control the clock, and maul teams. The addition of BF will make our entire offense function the way Childress wants it to...KAO in 09. 8)

Looks like you're coming around a bit to the arrival of the Lord as you so appointed him,

Simply put, everyone benefits from better QB play, hopefully if Favre comes here that will be the case.

I have noticed in Favre's past that he does like to pick a favorite receiver and put a lot of pressure on him to step up his game.
Who that will be on our squad, I'm not sure, but if the receivers don't show they can come through for him I don't see a lot of patience from his part.

    Can you say " Shanko " ?

No doubt Shanko will get his fair share.
If we see the good Shank that we saw last year, he should be one of his favorite targets, especially against cover 2 defenses.

I agree with almost all of that with one exception.....Play action/deep routes.

Sorry, even though we might take a few shots, just don't see it happening alot based on my perception/analysis of his stats over the last couple of years.

Nope, he'll be able to exploit the intermediate stuff up the middle (TE/Rice) off of the Play Action but I'm not so sure we will see alot of BB streaking down the sideline wide open.

No, no, not coming around, just actually talking about what is feasible and what isn't.
Again, I have tried to stay pretty open minded about what he can/can't do.

Getting it deep with accuracy is one of those things I don't think he will be able to do on a consistent basis.

Like we saw with the Jets last year, I think D-coords have realized this and thats why you saw so many stacked boxes against them last year.
I know some don't like to admit it, but, a 6.65 yards per attempt isn't getting it deep my friend.
Even TJ has a longer pass (59) than LNAD (56).

As I posted before.....Of the games he played in....

    a.
He had 89 passes of 40> and other than a couple of vids, 2 or 3 of them actually were the WR getting YAC for most of those yards.
    Even ole Gussyboy had 6.
