Minnesota Vikings give Norseman logo facelift for 2013 - NFL.comLook closely. The Minnesota Vikings have given their weatherworn Norseman a facelift.
The team's longtime logo has been enhanced "to give it a more natural and defined look," the Vikings announced Thursday on their official site.
It looks like this was all that was in the works. I too was hoping for a come back with the throwbacks. Oh well. I do think the updated logo looks better though.

Not bad. Looks like the Norseman will match the horn on the helmets now.

I don't hate it. subtle look. They're smart not to majorly change the logos. Same with the horn.

Speaking of throwbacks, I'm the only one who actually misses these?
