I'd be thrilled to see a permanent switch to the throwback jersey. They're classy, not cartoonish like the current ones. At first I kind of liked the futuristic step, but after a few seasons of seeing them I came to realize how much better looking the retro ones really are. The darker shade of purple, the sleeve stripes, the grey facemask... classy.

I'm curious to see what they'd do with the white jersey. Would they just invert the color scheme? Or give it the stripe going over the shoulder like there used to be?

I really hope they make this happen. Just no purple pants, it makes some of the linemen look like Grimace.

Agree with every word... the throwbacks are just sharp. REALLY hope they make them the permanent uniforms.

I actually like the new uniforms better than the old ones. I would be fine with a switch again though. It doesn't affect me much since I am a sucker and buy a new one each year anyway.

Those definitely should be our full-time uniforms. They look great and have that classic feel.

I am in the minority that does not hate the current duds though. But I still would love to see something more classic looking.

The old unis were the fizhizzle!! I hated them messing with those classic and classy unis.

The throwbacks are awesome...but the old white ones are ugly as hell. I don't hate the new ones but am fine with a change.

I think Cam Newton has those cleats in Panthers blue.
