I like his resume. Coached with Zimmer on the Cowboys (LBs Coach).

Doesn't look like he has any success as a DC in the past.

I would rather have an unknown or weaker coordinator on the same side of the ball as the HC experience, as opposed to the opposite side of the ball. I have no reason to not trust Zimmer, so I'm on board.

Nothing to get excited about in that resume. Guess Zimmer figures he just needs someone to carry out his orders on defense. Hopefully he picks a proven guy for OC.

On another note, I was listening to KFAN interview a Cincinnati Bengal analyst, who spoke very highly about Zimmer. Believes his biggest coaching strength is with DB's. Maybe he can figure out how to finally get a decent secondary in MN. How many years has it been? He also likes to dumpster dive for unwanted players and get them to play with a chip on their shoulder.

Didn't he develop Madieu Williams for us? That guy was one of Wilf's best FA signings.
