    The New T-Jack

OK everyone, lets take an honest look at the T-Jack.

I know we lost today, and some will say he has missed on some passes, but he is not turning the ball over, he looks patient in the pocket, he moves away from pressure, and he runs when he should.

But to me the most important aspect is when he needs to throw the ball away, he does.
    No forcing of anything.

It appears to me the coaches are calling plays to his strength, and more importantly plays that he can succeed in to build his confidence.

Right now I am a fan of the new T-Jack, but I want to keep seeing improvement.

Mods...if this should have gone somewhere else, I apologize....please feel free to move

Lol I know you have seen the offical Jackson thread!

But really he does look good.. He showed he could do this in preseason.. But he was banged up in the beginning of the year and rusty

I was not surprised to see him do this

Not to many knocks on T.Jack today , efficient in the passing game , I don't like the offensive swim move he does with the football , but he played well today , the one fumble wasn't solely on him , he and Peterson may need a few extra reps ... but holding the ball down below your hips is always a recipe for disaster , Passing game was efficient , his legs we're great today , a few times he got away when Gus would have had no choice but to get sacked overall not a bad game out of Jackson , wish we could of gotten a W but we'll be ok , just have to eliminate turnovers.

Yes...I have, but I thought this was a slightly different take.

Thats why I told the mods to move if they wanted....like they really needed my permission

I too thought he was capable of this.

Did anyone else hear the story of his son needing a pacemaker at the start of the season?

its not new, his approach is just different.
to me, he was committing too much to the gameplan early on.
if he had a 3 step drop and quick pass, he was throwing it no matter what, instead of allowing himself to keep the play alive.
also, i think our offensive line has just become awesome, despite cook.
just think of how many sacks woulda been today if ferrotte was in there, and how many drives woulda ended becuz he cant bust off a half a yard run let alone the 20 yds jackson was clipping off at a time.

I was loving TJ all game. Only one of those fumbles really appeared to be his fault. Passes were very crisp and accurate. This team needs to shake it off. Everything is still in their hands, and I have a good feeling Chicago is going to get whipped by GB anyway

yah my bro said they gave petersons 2nd fumble to jackson.
peterson didn't let the ball get to his body, thats why it was a fumble.
his other fumble i'm not okay with but he was keeping his eyes downfield which was part of the cause and thats a good thing, but you gotta have the ball in a better position cuz you will fumble every time like that.

Only knacks on him are he needs the hold the ball better.. He holds it out near his side when he is running around in the backfield

And that he needs to slide.. Wow he took some pops
