New stadium
How are the vikings going to ever get a new stadium. There are not enough vikings fans to fill one, unless they build a stadium with about 40,000 seats. And what about ticket prices? Even though you are in the upper deck, I think $25 for row 23 in the upper deck is a steal for the metrodome. You actually get seats and its climate controlled.
At lambone, the cheapest ticket is $59 and you sit on a hard bleacher. If it rains, sleets, snows, too bad. Not exactly the best bargain in the world but packer fans pay 2-4 times face value just to sit in these hard seats.
What can a team do to fill a stadium? Minneapolis is a pretty big city and cant sell out the dome now, how can a little city like green bay do it?
Love to hear some thoughts.

Have you been there?
If it weren't for tailgating, the experience isn't exactly one that makes you want to leave your couch to see it......
But yeah, we have a long sell-out streak going actually.

Re: New stadium
There is no way your preseason games come even close to selling out, but, I was unaware that your regular season games sell out.
Do you think if a new stadium was built, with an actual parking lot to tailgate, that more fans would be interested?

And there are tailgate lots near the Dome (started 2 seasons ago), but not nearly enough, as it is a downtown stadium.

Thanks to Josdin for the awesome sig!

At the Browns stadium there are strict laws against drinking in the city owned lots adjacent to the stadium.
People have no problem tailgating in private lots and such.
There are plenty of good spots around the Dome; especially to spaces occupied by the PP.O crew.
