    New Rope

Some of you would complain if you were hung with a new rope.

    Stunning.

I would certainly prefer cotton over polyester. It is much softer on the neck.

    Why the plus.
I mean if someone got hung unless the rope broke or someone saved them they'd be dead and wouldn't be complaining about any rope.
Heck if someone survived being hanged I doubt they'd be complaining about rope.

Yeah, I don't think the metaphor is working, either.

Then you clearly are not familiar with that old colloquilism (sp?).

    To spell it out:
    bitch no matter what.

    There.
After we lost last weekend we had 18 new members within a few hours.
    A lot came to vent.

It's a shame we have had 0 since we won.

    I didn't say I didn't understand the metaphor.
I just thought it was an odd one.
