Are we seeing the new Purple People Eaters? Seriously wheb was the last time our defense has shown some dominance. Great D-line, Solid LB Play. Have a coupel of minor issues at the DB positions, but are playing pretty well. Maybe I am looking through the "purple galasses". But I am not ashamed to say that this defense right now is a top 5 defense right now,, and by all indications (I hope) will stay that way for the season.
Well, if it was the new PPE's I do not think that includes the LB's because the old PPE's were the 4 lineman if I am not mistaken.
And the DB's, I would say a little more than minor unless the system is failing.
The old PPE's weren't this bad.

as afar as teh DB Go, I have seen worse. but teams pick on Griffith alot which they should. We hardly see or hear Winfeilds anem at all.
Our d doesn't deserve a nickname, they can't stop the pass for shit!

Why did we even draft Rice anyways? I am extremely disgusted by todays coaching effort.

Does not matter who we drafted...we need WR's, a QB, and a defensive scheme that works vs the pass.
