That's damn near free if you work for the federal gov't, < 1 billion dollars is peanuts.

He has forked over cash every year since he acquired the team. From facility upgrades to staff upgrades to player upgrades. And he previously committed to $250 million for a new stadium. And he has endorsed and committed to two different stadium proposals (entering into intent to buy contracts with surrounding land both times).

I didn't realize he commited 250 mil. Well, that is all we need. C'mon PUBLIC let's get this done, it's not gonna get any cheaper!!

Here are some images of the propsed stadium. Not sure what to think of the roof or the stadium shape... The roof is supposed to be angled for natural snow shedding, and the idea is to have ambient lighting during daylight.




Personally, I think it is kind of ugly.

Hard to judge by a less-than-detailed watercolor painting, but I think it'll be pretty nice looking.

If that were a computer generated image I think it would look much better, water coloring doesn't do much justice for it's angles and big windows.

From the looks of that sketch, the stadium plan looks to have a hole in the roof ala Cowboy stadium. Gosh I hope that's not the plan!
