    Re: New and improved C-Pep

he will rule again next year...he's had a tough setback but has seemingly gone about it the right way. he's had the benefit of some time on the sideline to re-evaluate everything, the chance to grow with the help of brad johnson...we all know he is a rare & special talent, but with some maturity & improved game management skills he can become complete...i guy that can throw bombs like peyton & still run like vick...actually make that gerrard now...hahaha...vick merely treads water now..

he needs to remember how to read defenses to actually do anything.

problem is the offensive line has been so crap, he's kinda preoccupied trying to stay alive

The o-line will have changes and improvments made in the offseason, and if daunte comes back BETTER than before i can only imagine what we'll see from him. Working under the shadow of manning left him underrated as did our offensive line at the beginning of the season. everybody is going to be pleasantly surprised next season when he comes back (unless they're on the opposing team!)

I just want him to come back smarter & with the same mobility he had.

I hope he's been watching & studying a lot of game films.

Why would he be annoyed with Minnesota?

How does he think the local inhabitants (fans and non-fans) will treat him now?

The legal system in Minnesota has charged him with a crime. That's not the way to treat your stars.
I think Pep is saying if the Vikings don't want him back, either because of the injury or the boat incident, he will be playing somewhere else.

He simply saying "I will be back playing next year" whether it's for the Vikings or not.

Don't forget , we get Birk back next year too. That alone should help the line stability. REALLY missing him this year!!!
Its better to lose the first game than the last one.
