The more accurate title would be "NFL doesn't move..." since it's their call, not NBC's.http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=tsn-weekprimetimegamevik&prov=tsn&type=lgns
Just what I figured would happen (based upon discussions at the506.com) since NFLN has 2 of the most desirable games for Week 15 on their schedule (Indy-Jax on Thursday the 17th and Dallas-NO on Saturday the 19th). Fox protected GB @ Pittsburgh and CBS protected Cincy @ SD, so that left a whole lot of shit available as fodder for switching out the Vikings and Panthers.
Would you replace Favre-AD-Allen with SF @ Philly? NE @ Buffalo? Miami @ Tennessee?
=Z=
Thanks to Josdin for the awesome sig!

Re:NBC keeps Vikes-Panthers for week 15
This season has been pretty dang cool in terms of seeing the Vikings on local/national TV. Here in Cincinnati, if the Bengals are at home at 1 PM, we often don't get a 1 PM game on the other network. But so far this season, I've gotten to watch:
GB @ MIN
MIN @ PIT
MIN @ GB
DET @ MIN
CHI @ MIN
MIN @ ARZ
and now I'll get to see for certain:
CIN @ MIN
MIN @ CAR
MIN @ CHI
Plus I was in attendance at:
MIN @ CLE
SF @ MIN
That's 11 of 16 regular season games, and we still might get the NYG @ MIN. It was a good year not to pay for NFL Sunday TicketSKOL VIKINGS!

What a waist of money for me, ordering the NFL Gameday Package from Direct TV this season....I think there has only been ONE game I was unable to watch on TV,not using the package....$200 down the drain...This season has been pretty dang cool in terms of seeing the Vikings on local/national TV. I may just dump it next season.

No kidding. This has been a great year for us out-of-towners. You can in part the Brett Favre mystique and the media circus that follows.
