If its been that long sitting in clearance, that usually means you have to pay duty on it, and they won't release it untill you do.

Question - wouldn't this "shipping to Europe" thing be easier if someone here shipped it to you?
Would it need this "Clearance" crap then?
I see people shipping boxes via the US Postal Service all the time to places overseas and I don't recall anything about it needing to sit for a month in some warehouse....

i told the guys there at wavf to send it as a gift box. they don't put any holds or things on those. ..

not sure. i get things all the time from ebay. but the 4-7 working days they say usually turns into 10-12 to greece. it's just annoying..

and yeah.. Z it would prolly be better had a person instead of company sent it from the states.

btw.. fedex hasn't told me yet how much they need to get it out of customs..

I noticed a throwback number 88 jersey..
So I checked the name, and it was Allen Page's jersey.
Now, I got excited, because Page has always been my dad's favorite player.
I check with the clerk to make sure I get the right size for my old man, and I buy it for him for Father's Day.

Flash forward to a few weeks ago.
I tell my dad to keep Sept. 14th open because I'm going to take him to the home opener after we join ya'll at the tailgate.
I also tell him to break out his Page jersey.
Then I mention to him that since he's got a jersey, I'll have to start shopping for one of my own (after all these years, I STILL have yet to purchase my own Authentic Vikings jersey..
SAD!!).
Then this past weekend at our family reunion, he tells me that he bought me a jersey online.
A Carl Eller throwback.
He said that since he couldn't find one, he had to do the customize your own jersey.

Silly old man.
I never asked or told him he should get one for me..
I just mentioned that I needed one of my own in passing.
Hopefully it's Authentic embroidered and not silk screened.
Either way, though, it's still a Vikings jersey.

My memory failed me.
This past weekend I went to my parents house to help them do some construction/remodeling work, and I saw the Eller jersey.
And I was mistaken.
My dad told me it was a Vikings HOME jersey, not throwback.
I'm so smart at times.
Also, we've figured that since the Page jersey is only a 'L' and the Eller is an 'XL', I'll be wearing the Page and the ol' fart will be wearing the Eller.
Just an update.

ok..

the problem with my new Prize jersey has been discovered.

I won the jersey from warvf's site. autographed Kwill authentic jersey.

they sent it.. not as a gift package.. but as a sold item of 300 dollars value.

now i'm not sure why. but they had a bad phone number. i went and made sure it was the right one. and fedex has left it 1 month in the storage of the greek customs. now we have a running bill of around 140 euro. which is somewhere near the 300 dollar price tag of the jersey..

!#$%!#$% greek customs!!!
now fedex is trying to see what they can do. while i'm trying to get ahold of "MINNESOTA VIKINGS FOOTBALL LLC" to ask them to send a gift purchase order instead of the 300 dollar one. that will drop the price down to 50-60 euro and i'll be payin around 120 bucks..


if it wasn't such a kick jiggly arse !#$%!#% kewl jersy.. i wouldn't follow through. but I WANT IT!!
