My run-in with John Randle
I never got a chance to share this story with you guys but here it is. A couple of years ago I went to a club here in houston with a couple of my friends and since
we knew the owners, we got in to the VIP section. The VIP section of this club was a balcony overlooking the general dance floor area below. I was standing by the edge of the balcony looking downstairs when I noticed someone walked up real close to me and started looking down at the dance floor also. So to my shock, it was none other than John Randle wearing a purple suit in the heat of the houston summer. I couldn't believe my eyes since I am a huge John Randle fan. So here is what happend next,
Me: Oh Shitt, Aren't you John Randle? (as I lightly placed my hand on his shoulder)
JR: Boy, Is you crazy? Didn't your mom ever teach you not to put your hands on a nigga? (by this time, I was ready to piss in my pants)
Me: Dude, I am soooo sorry. I just can't belive its you. I am a huge viking fan.( and so on)
JR: No shitt? Why didn't you say that earlier? What yo u drinking? I am buying.
I didn't take the drink but he talked to me for a while and he told me that he was just kidding earlier about yelling at me.
Anyways, thats what happend when I met big JR.
