My question made the "Vikings Mailbag"
Some time ago Singer gave us a link for the Vikings "Mailbag." I wrote and asked about Jason Carter. They answered it as the last question in this issue.

That's great Cojo.
Part of the reply is this;
My question is as it was last year, if he is so sure handed, why didn't they put him on the active roster when we had so many receivers dropping balls? He is also sure-handed and can be used as a return man

Nice COJO.
Do you feel satisfied by his response?

Re: My question made the "Vikings Mailbag"
It was a pretty standard response that anyone here could have written - "let's wait until after training camp..." That was his "stock" answer for most of the questions.

Re: My question made the "Vikings Mailbag"
I think the article has a good POV. But it doesn't offer anymore than one of us could. Very little 'inside knowledge'
That whole www.vikings.com site is a piece of poo. I emailed them to tell them how much it sucked last year.
My e-mail was so riddled with swears they probably deleted it.
I was on dial-up internet.
Shit! That is how i found pp.o long ago i just remembered now. I was too fed up with loading for hours to read about the vikes.

I always expect him to have a little insider information but realized that he is regurgitating the same thing over and over.
Kind of dodges around the the question.

Re: My question made the "Vikings Mailbag"
I'm not so optimistic after reading that. From vikings.com, it's gonna generally be all roses, and when they drop lines like "again fighting for a roster spot" and "on the bubble," I'm likely to read that as "pretty slim chance" to make the roster. Hopefully I'm wrong.

Re: My question made the "Vikings Mailbag"
Yeah you do get standard responses from there.
The problem is that you'll never hear anything negative from the Vikings website.
At one point someone asked about depth on our D, then they'd answer that we have many young DEs and a lot of S's, nothing about the LB group where we could be possibly thin.
But it's all Vikings, so it's all good
Thanks to PPE for the sig.
