Most exciting game since the Moss-era?
Tonight's game was truly a Monday Night game. This game had everything and then some. Even though Peterson didn't break out like we've seen him, it was still exciting in every other spot. I really dig games with turnovers and those swings back and forth; even more when there are returns. The game all-around, both teams and both sides of the ball, had plays that kept me more than excited and glued. I already loved Winfield and he was probably my favorite Viking because how solid a player I always thought he was, but now that he's adding style points to it this season it's past ridiculous. A cornerback that can play and tackle like a linebacker is always nice, but one that punishes quarterbacks is even nicer. He reminds me of an assassin the way he sneaks up on these QBs and lays 'em out while stealing the ball. Just sick.
Not to mention the return of the deep ball to the offense, along with a Chester Taylor touchdown pass.
It got me wondering about the last Vikings game I saw that was as exciting, if not more. And the only thing that really came to mind in recent memory was some games when Moss was still playing and doing what he did. Maybe even back further to when Carter was still playing. The single game rushing record game was exciting, too, because it solidified Peterson as a superstar, but itstill didn't have what tonight had (in my opinion, don't hurt me).
I dunno, maybe it's just because I dig games like this that are a bit outta the norm, but none the less, it was good.

The 2 great games with AD last year were more exciting than this.

Hell, winning this game was out of the norm.
