ESPN just did their countdown of the top ten receivers in the league, and they picked Randy Moss number one ahead of Marvin Harrison. I was on this site yesterday ripping ESPN, but at least they got this one right.

    Kind of fair-weather fans, aren't we? :?

    Rankings mean nothing anyway.

Most WR rankings have Moss as best in the league in just about every physical tool (speed, jumping, catching, body control, athleticism), but some drop him behind the twig because they claim Moss has "mental lapses" or inconsistency (the guy who averaged 100+yds and 1+ tds per game last year)

I m like a Ja Rule poster, cause I'm off the wall.

Hehe, indeed they did, but they didn't show the lateral that shows he doesn't take plays off

    *scratches head*

    Hmmmm....

*puts in videotape of Packer game at Minnesota last year*

    Hmmm....

*watches Moss alligator-arm pass from Culpepper*

    Ummm....

*watches Moss jog off the line when the game is getting out of reach*

No, wait....he's saving himself for a future play....or trying to lull the defense to sleep....

When was that game out of reach? That big 10 point lead you had at one point? Don't be jealous that you're rival has THE BEST receiver in the game, even though he takes a play off here and there!! What about that catch in the endzone over Darren Sharper? I suppose he took that play off too!! Or maybe that was Sharper taking the play off!!

I get the most pissed off looks from people with my VKG 4 LFE Wisconsin license plate, and I LOVE IT!!

All I know is that ever since Moss said that he plays when he wants to play, everyone who doesnt like Moss is going to find an example of when he didnt "give 100%". I'm sure that if we went back and looked at a lot of NFL players, they wont be going all out on EVERY single play during the season. You may think that Moss doesnt try his best, but he has showed up and played in every game during his career, he hasnt sat out once. Not a lot of recievers can do that over six seasons.
