Chris Mortenson in ESPN that we now are ready to over take the division, and make a run for the NFC bid to the Super Bowl.

I don't know about that.. but it's an interesting and optimistic outlook.

He is right IMHO.

Yes, he is right, and I see it too. We are one to two years away (by that, I mean, we could do it in 2008 or 2009 at the latest). I still think that one of two things has to happen at QB, for us to make the Show, though:

a. Tarvaris has to dial it way down and "learn to drive the bus" (i.e. not take chances and be "Eli-like" in his risk-taking [as opposed to Favre-like)]

b. We get another QB

I hope so, but it's silly to make those kind of predictions this early.
Every year there are big surprise teams and stuff we could never imagine.
There are so many little things that add up to teams winning or losing divisions.
What if AP doesn't repeat last seasons awesome season, what if BMac is out for a long time, what if heaven forbid someone like Kevin Williams goes down with an injury.
It's too far out and too many intangibles to be able to say we're automatically the division leaders.
We have to go into the season and get some big wins against the North Division before I'm ready to proclaim us the leaders of the pack.

TJ is the big ?.
If he improves, then Katie bar the door.
If not, it'll be hit and miss...

idk what to watch, vikings weekly and nfl live are both talking about the vikings
