I wouldn't worry to much Marrdro, if I had to lay down some serious cash on who's to go, I'm going to say FASON is a memory already.
His standup running style has been an issue and he was unable to really correct it last season.
I truly believe he is the one we will be letting go this year.

I've never been a fan of the injury prone guy.
    Let him walk.
With CT & AP on the roster he is not needed, there are surely other needs on the team that can be addressed by throwing him on the block.
His relatively low salary is a good point, but he is worth more on the street than he's getting paid.
I would be surprised if there aren't talks going on with other teams.
He would be a good character on the team though if he stays.
I just see him as being one of, if not the, most replacable person on the team that has perceived value in a trade deal.
He's the best option they have on the roster to return punts.
Not kick-offs, mind you, but punts.
I like him as a punt returner, moreso than Ciatrick Fason or Artose Pinner as an anything.

Thanks to Josdin for the awesome sig!

Pinner played well last year, making him one of "Childress' guys" (when I use that term from here on out, I'm being extremely sarcastic, because I think its a load of bullshit.)

Moore has value as a punt returner.

Unfortunately, if one goes it will be Fason, who never really got a shot with teh whole regime change taking place. I wish we would deal Moore though. I would much rather keep Carter and let Pinner spell.

We lose a PR and we get valuable depth somewhere on defense.

Re: No Mas? (No Mewelde Moore?)

All these points were made in the other thread about Moore.
I think he is good "bang for the buck."
However, remember his contract is up next year and he wants to be a player which he will not be in MN.
He is the only other back on the team right now with any trade value at all.
    I like Moore.
He seems like a good kid and he's a good player when he's in.
However, if we can get something for him it wouldn't be a bad thing.

If you want my opinion, there may be a deal including Moore and Holcomb in the coming weeks.
    I would gladly take it.
Moore is a solid PR but Chandler Williams may be able to take his place.

He is also a guy who can catch the ball so I think they will using him in the slot some this year. last year he was 2nd on the team with 46 catches for 468 yards, including a 50 yarder that was the longest of anybody on the team.
Rushing he only got 24 attempts but averaged 5.5 yards per carry(with 15 yards the longest).

Last time I checked, having a good returner is something we haven't had in a while.
MeMo has been a better returner than anyone we've had in the past 7 years.
Why would you trade a player for a late second day pick when he is still an asset to your team?
That is: "Being a bad GM 101".
People get hurt, especially at the RB position.
MeMo hasn't missed time (to my knowledge) in a couple seasons.
MeMo being injury prone was just Tice's excuse to keep Bennett around as long as he did.

MeMo returning punts was a main reason why we didn't get shut out in games last year.

It would probably be better for his career if he moved on. I'm not sure it would improve us as a team, but at the same time I'm not sure it would hurt us either.

I love how these wildly speculative articles breed impassioned debate. It goes to show that sports can be incredibly entertaining even during the off season.

I have to think this dimension has been added through the instantaneous and enduring communication afforded by the Internet.

I know God loves us because we have the Internet.
