We are really deep at the running back position, however we are only a couple injuries away from starting MeMo. If either Taylor or AP, goes down(Heaven Forbid) Mewelde could come in and not miss a beat. C-4, and Pinner could be the change of pace guys. Provided we keep all these guys, which seems highly unlikely.

I think that was the crux of my discussion points in that thread.
Of all the backs that probably could go, he was the most attractive to other teams as trade bait.

Quickly found out that comments like that aren't well recieved as he is a huge fan favorite around these parts

That's because of the low salary we are paying him. He's a lot of bang for the buck. Moreso than Pinner or Fason. Especially on returns.

I don't need it so it would still be a waste of $10K.

In MeMo's case he has some street value, a trade could possibly bring back an exponential return in an area that is lacking.
He is probably worth at least a third string long snapper.

I'm aware of that, just like to get the MeMo sniffers riled up.
I've never been a fan of the injury prone guy.
Let him walk.
With CT & AP on the roster he is not needed, there are surely other needs on the team that can be addressed by throwing him on the block.
His relatively low salary is a good point, but he is worth more on the street than he's getting paid.
I would be surprised if there aren't talks going on with other teams.
He would be a good character on the team though if he stays.
I just see him as being one of, if not the, most replacable person on the team that has perceived value in a trade deal.
