Associated Press
EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. - Vikings running back Mewelde Moore might be ready to play in the final preseason game Thursday against the Cowboys.
Moore hasn't participated in two weeks because of a knee injury. Minnesota coach Brad Childress said Moore would probably practice Monday.
"I'd like to get him ready for Dallas," Childress said, "but if I don't feel like he's ready to go and be able to protect himself, I'm not going to push him over the top."
Another backup running back, Ciatrick Fason, bruised his shoulder in Friday's game against Baltimore but was able to practice Sunday. Cornerback Charles Gordon, out for the past three-plus weeks with a knee injury, also returned to the field.
Defensive tackle Pat Williams didn't practice because of a swollen calf and might miss another day. Cornerback Fred Smoot, who bruised his ribs against the Ravens, was also held out. Childress said he has not decided whether Smoot would play against the Cowboys.
Receiver Kevin Kasper is still missing because of an ankle injury. Receiver Josh Davis was not present during the portion of practice reporters were allowed to watch. No information on his absence was provided by the team.

We should start a contest to see how long MeMo is healthy, how long before he misses another game due to injury.
My guess is that he will miss the third game of the regular season.
He won't be hurt form the previous game, but will suddenly not be in the lineup which seems to happen way to often. What we've got here is failure to communicate.

Hopefully Chester will be durable and MeMo can keep healthy for a few touches a game.
Doubt MeMo can stay healthy, I'm banking on Fason turning it up this year and the dude with the Fed up name coming in and stuffing some folks...did you see that hit he laid in the Ravens game?
MeMo is a pussy.

MeMo's street value for a trade is barely above mine.

I'm sorry but I dont think Moore has the future we all think he can have. Why all the sudden are his injuries just gonna stop? The guy proves every year that his body cant take a 16 game season. Now I love MeMo, and really want him to succeed, but its like Dejavu reading these preseason notes about him and injuries.I feel bad for the guy cuz hes really talented, I just cant see him ever being that 20-25 carry, feature back for 16 games.

Theres NOTHING greater then a Florida Gator!

lol, we need to find him like.. some super healer type stuff, he's a really talented back and with his recieving skills he could be the next brian westbrook in this WCO, however, we all know how it will turn out
its unfortunate having a talented injuryprone player

Anyone watch the World Cup and see the magic spray they'd mist on the "injured" wankers lying in the middle of the field? (i think it was diluted liquid nitrogen or something) Maybe we just need to get Memo some of that. At any rate, he better get his act together.lol, we need to find him like.. some super healer type stuff
In other news...

I hope he still makes the team. At least versus the Raiders he seemed like a pretty good option for a kick returner. Not only that but the guy clearly knows how to...

GET AWESOME!!!!
