Re: The Money, Money, Money!! & Asst Coaches

Do we use his plays or the plays the O.C comes up with? I never really understood this..

If we use the head coaches then it would be a good thing Tice is gone then

Every head coach is different in the on the field job, but I am pretty sure that every head coach is directly involved in the playbook and the plays themselves.

On the field he stated he was going to be calling the plays. A lot of times a coaches job is to listen to the OC and DC and step in and take the reigns if they need to.

Why the **** are you calling a draw on this play loney? No run a 32.

    LoL true dat Del..

If we get a great OC to take Loney's place I hope he calls the plays..

Otherwise I want Childress doing it since he was an OC and a damn good one too

Del you always seem to give really level headed and very knowledgeable responses. if you get a chance could you tell me your opinion on the idea of bringing all those guys from philly like that article suggested. is that a good idea or not?

I say anyone but the Packers' quarterbacks coach! Agh!

Other than that, I want him to bring in whoever he is comfortable with. He knows better than anyone who can be successful in his system.

    New def coordinater...

According to an NFL source, Childress already has pieced together a respectable coaching staff that includes Eagles LB coach Steve Spagnuolo as defensive coordinator. Pat Shurmur, Eagles QB coach, and Packers QB coach Darrell Bevell — who played for Childress at Wisconsin — are reportedly the top candidates to become offensive coordinator.

out of curiosity why would they all leave Philly? why would Reid want an all new staff?

They would be leaving because they are getting better jobs with more control for them and probably more money on the coaching staff Childress is building.
