Im not a big fan of dr.z But i totally agree with him here the monday night second team was way better than the nonsense that kornheiser was talking about!

I thought they did a fairly decent job.. Somewhat interesting.. And I'd rather listen to them then Madden's mumbling!

Re: Monday Night Football on ESPN. Graded by Mr. Anderson

The best announced game I ever saw was the year before the Sunday ticket.
I had one of the old, big satellite dishes that rotated, the very first ones to come out.
Anyway, with any luck I could catch the network feed across the country and watch the game.
I did not always hear the announcers and sometimes I even heard the producers (Roll #17, #14 pan right, and 3-2-1... stuff like that).
Anyway, one game, i forget which, the feed was the camera on the Metrodome roof.
    That's it.
Just one long 3 hour shot from the roof of the dome.
I have no idea where it was coming from or what it was for.
but I watched the two teams (tiny little dots) move back and forth across the field.
I couldn't always tell what was happening, but I knew the darker team had to move toward the endzone.
There was no sound, and that made it the best announced game ever.

The next year they offered the Sunday ticket and I've never missed a snap since.
Bring me the prisoners; I want them alive!

Personally I like Madden as an announcer.
The guy knows the game of football and shows how each play works or how it didn't.
That's what announcers should be doing.
Not interacting with Jaime Foxx and showing Tom Cruise more than they show the game.
    I don't mind humor.
    In fact I like it.
    However Kornhole isn't humorous.
    Neither is Theisman.
    Tirico is okay.
Going back to Theisman I thought he did a better job than he normally does.
It was all the other "interruptions" (pardon the pun) that ruined the browadcast.

    omg Kirks, that's hillarious!!
I'm not sure I could watch that for three hours though, lol.
