Re: Missing tight ends on Vikings' radar

I mentioned it in another thread, I really feel a Kleinsasser TD coming on ;D But I kinda agree with alot of folks when they say TE has no place in the offense. After all, Wiggins was dumped. He was apretty good pass-catching tight end. Any thoghts as to why Wiggins was let go?

Holcomb will get them the ball...he is probably very hungry for playing time...and the better he plays, the longer that TJack may be held back to recover from that groin injury.
There's no doubt in my mind either. Holcumb has the experience to get to that read.I say at least 4 catches by the tight end this week.Shank has caught the catchable balls thrown his way in regular season. I think he will be ok.

I am still boggled as to why Wiggins was cut and visanthe was signed. Maybe Childress hated Good Will Hunting, you know, with the Boston accents and everything, Example- "How do you like them apples? AAAAAGHHHHH.?" ;D

Of course for a TE to be used in the passing game the OL would have to block people well enough to allow for the TE to run a route.

Again, please don't get me going on the OL.
    ;D
