Missing tight ends on Vikings' radar

Missing tight ends on Vikings' radar

Looking for a target at tight end, the Vikings signed Visanthe Shiancoe in the offseason. Problem is, their quarterbacks have struggled to get him, and others, the ball.

Thanks to PPE for the sig.

I would like to see Shiancoe the 18 million dollar guy use some speed to get down the seam on a play-action 1st down pass. 1 catch after 2 games is not using your weapons. I bet we see some more catches by TE's starting this week.

I hear that. I'm anxious to see him earn that big contract. I were promised by the coaches that he could actually catch the ball.

But at least it's also something that is on the coaches agenda.

Also I wish Del were here to tell me if he can see his impact as a blocker in his analysis of the game tapes.

Childress's pathetic offense doesnt have TE involved in the game plan. Either that or our pathetic overpaid Oline cant give the QB enough time to pass to a TE.

TE is usually the last option on the route-checks for the QB and the oline doesnt give enoguh time for us to get to the 3rd or 4th read

Don't get me going on the damn OL.

Shank and Dugan both had catches last weekend.

Thats exactly why I STILL have him as my backup TE in fantasy land.

Holcomb will get them the ball...he is probably very hungry for playing time...and the better he plays, the longer that TJack may be held back to recover from that groin injury.

missing TE's in the offense is an under-statement.
