Missed Opportunity
One thing I noticed, and I don't know if you did:
If you are talking about missed opportunities and breaking the stereotype, think about this:
Brett Favre, the great intercepter, was asked to lead a game winning drive against a hot team.
On third down, he goes back and throws a lob up in the air 25 yards downfield to the third-string halfback in double coverage.
Given what is expected of Favre, you would figure this was one of his late-game interceptions that he always makes. And frankly, if Chavous has better position, that ball is picked off and now Daunte has a chance to pass yet another pass to Burleson and possibly win the game.
I have mentioned this on Packer boards and gotten the usual "Favre Was Awesome" response, but I say Favre finally put one on the money, and the Vikings let an opportunity slip away.Have you ever seen a race of turtles, and they all go the wrong way instead of towards the finish line?
Welcome to the NFC North.

Missed Opportunity
The worst missed opportunities are the ones you earn then SOMEBODY takes them away.

That is the one that upsets me more than the Chavous play.
I guess both of them could have positioned themselves better.
Favre does throw up a prayer now and then. I don't remember a lot of those prayers last night.

Winfield's Wiff??? Witch one is that. They also called Winfield for a fantom pass interference, horrable call. I really need to stop with this game, but it earatates(sp) me.

I am pretty sure that was Winfield that couldn't control his body and let Walker slide in front of him to keep him from an interception. That was another pass by Farve that way prayer like. It was lofted up. I wonder if it was designed that way, like Cunningham to Moss when they under threw the ball and come back to the ball.
