I spent some time the other day trying to find some old Viking info and stumbled across this site, Quite possibly the most informative Vikings historical site I've found,



Go to draft picks, You get every years picks along with games started as a rookie, games played in Minn. career,


Pro bowls by every Viking -lists every year on the first team as well as overall pro bowls played in


Our Off, and Def. rankings every year, Did you know we were #1 in both Offense and Defense in "69"? for pts made, and given up


Every years record with team leaders, league ranking and coach


Etc, Etc, Etc, Check this out,

I had come across the sportsecyclopedia site while I was searching around, But not the second one, I was originally looking for a list of Viking pro bowlers, Not as easy as I thought it would be. Check out the draftees section of the site I mentioned, you'll love it.

Yeah ... all the Pro Reference sites are excellent. There is one for baseball, football, basketball, hockey and the olympics.

I have been using them for a few years.
The only problem I have is that for a site that has such a good history they screw up on the first four Super Bowls.
Just a pet peeve of mine.
The New York Jets cannot have a NFL Championship because when they won the Super Bowl they were not in the NFL.
As well as the Colts should be listed as having 5 Championships and MN as having 1.
If your going to do the history, do it correct.
But that's just me. Most people will accecpt it.

Very informational sites. You can pretty much look up anything with use of the combined links in the thread. Nice work. I will be working on my Vikings trivia knowledge tomorrow after the games
