Money

Three main issues above.
Problems are these, the longer they wait, the more expensive this project gets.
Steel is going up, not like you can make the stadium out of recycled cardboard.
If they would have put something in place to raise money a few years ago, they would have an idea for how it would be paid for.
The cost over the time it has taken them to get to the vote to build would have been so minimal to the people of MN.
Buck up and get something in place and fund the concept of a new stadium.
I haven't been following this for awhile, actually lost interest.
Do they have an idea of how to fund this?
Jobs created would be good for the economy. At least we got something to look forward to in 2112.
Still, they should have been funding the stadium already.
Yes, the bridge is of the utmost importance, I agree.

Residents will have to be taxed sooner or later.
A milli-cent tax would have been better than nothing.
0 X 4 = 0
0 X 100 = 0
nothing x anything is nothing
.....
something like that.
Do nothing and get nothing.

Vikings Stadium / Not a word, not a hearing, not a chance. The Minnesota Vikings are on the backburner in their quest for a new stadium. Only one bill has been offered. And it ties stadium dollars to another seemingly lead balloon: a state-backed casino. The Vikings ownership hasn't presented a financing package that passes muster with state officials. For their part, budget-minded state leaders don't seem interested in seriously discussing the stadium situation until 2009 at the earliest.

I think the Twins were lucky they got their bill passed when they did, no way that would happening this year.
