Re: Minnesota Vikings refreshed, focused after bye week
1. Start AP and spell him with Chestor.
2. Get the ball to Sidney Rice. He's the only legitimate playmaking WR.
3. Stop chucking it deep to Troy. Give him slants and crossing routes.
4. Don't kick to Devin Hestor.
5. Keep in FB, HB, TE more to help the O-Line against that insane D-Line.
6. Go Vikings!Halo 4. Start another fight.

I agree. We should match up pretty well with this Bears team. We should be able to run on them and help out an inexperienced T.Jackson and porous offensive line with that strategy. Ball control. Keep their defense on the field and wear them down.AD and Chester need to touch the ball at least 60% of the time we have the ball. No returns for AD. Lots of screens, pick up the gol 'darnit blitz. I know we have this lame form of a WCO, but we gotta run more then pass. If we stick to that, some things should open up in the second half.
It will be important not to get behind early in this away game.“What takes a quarterback to the next level is not arm strength or mobility or any of that stuff. It’s the ability to play on critical downs. Manage third downs, or red zones or four-minute or two-minute situations"

Did you guys watch that CHI/GB game?
The GB rushing was tearing them up!
Our rushing attack is much, much better...of course, they'll be expecting us to run, whereas they were probably expecting Favre to throw more.
But, Wynn averaged 6 yds and Morency averaged 4.777 yds...Control the line, control the time, and give your D a chance to shine!!
