Minnesota Vikings #1 on NFL Network's "Top 10 Foul Up's"
I don't know how often you guys watch NFL Network, but every Wednesday they show these top 10's. For example, in the past they've shown top 10 most versatile players of all-time. And top 10 best pass rushers of all-time.
Well, tonight, they showed top 10 "Foul Up's" of all-time. As soon as I heard about this, I KNEW the Vikings would be on the list at least once. Well their # 6 top 10 foul up of-all time was when Gary Anderson missed that FG against the Atlanta Falcons in the post season.
And then, when they finally got to the number 1 foul-up of all-time, guess what it was?
It was when Jim Marshall picked up a fumble, and ran into the wrong end zone which lead to a saftey. Now, they did acknowledge how much of an iron man Marshall was, and how great of a defensive lineman he was. And they even mentioned how he should be in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. But the fact of the matter is, the Vikings will forever be number 1 of NFL Network's "Top 10 Foul Up's" of all-time.
It's just kinda funny to me, because I know how the Vikings are known for messing up in big moments, and it just shocked the hell out of me when I saw that we were number 1.
;DIn the P.J.'s, my blend tape plays, bullets are strays
Young bitches is grazed
Each block, is like a maze, full of black rats trapped
Plus the Island is packed
From what I hear in all the stories when my peoples come back, black

Well at least they didn't mention the Herschel Walker trade.

Fuck the nfl network.
The Vikings went to the playoffs in 1968,1969,1970,1971,1973,1974,1975,1976,1977,1978 and many, many more years.
The Vikings have won their division 16 times.(Not bad for an expansion team)
Jim Marshall played from1961 to 1979 for the Vikings. He recovered 29 fumbles. That's an NFL record.
In that game, where he recovered a fumble and ran the wrong way, the Vikings won. The score was Vikings 27 49ers 22. The reason they won was because Jim Marshall sacked the qb and caused a fumble after he had run the wrong way.
It is my fortune to have watched virtually every one of Jim Marshalls Vikings games in my life time.
He was one of the greatest to ever play the game. He, and several other Vikings players, make me proud to proclaim ,I AM A VIKINGS FAN.
Fuck the nfl network.

None of that changes the fact that he picked up the ball and ran the ENTIRE length of the field the wrong way. I love Marshall, but foul ups don't get much worse than that.floop the nfl network.
