    FOR FUN

    ;D

    Comparing
    AD to LT

    LT 5’10” 220
    AD 6’2” 220
They both came out of Texas HS football, which is like Junior college ball,

LT was not taken by the BIG Schools in his college days
he played WAC ball at TCU…

AD was #1 Nationally ranked RB in the country Recruited by every top college in the land…Rushed for 2,960 yards on 252 attempts, an average of 11.7 yards per carry, and 32 touchdowns as a HS senior..went to a RB`college OU

LT was a legit Heisman candidate his senior year finishing 4th in the balloting,

    AD was runner up
to Heisman his freshman year at 19…
LT set single game Div1A record while at TCU…

AD rewrote record books while at OU, breaking records of the likes of Joe Washington, Greg Pruitt, Marcus DuPree, Steve Owens, Billy Simms

In his own words Adrian likes to compare his running style as a combination of LT with some Larry Johnson thrown in
Im not saying AD is Better than LT(right now that is) but if ADs
past is any indication of the future, Hang on Viking fans, your all in for quite a ride

AP is gonna be some amazing and special.

It's not just his ability, his whole view of the game, of life is gonna bring this kid far.

lets hop that this FAR is a lot farther then Moss ever got us..

I voted Good, but just temporarely. Let AD rip until CT gets healthy, and our passing game improves somemore. We have something special with AP. He's gonna separate from the pack of rookies every week. With his level head, and laidback southern demeanor he'll be a great team player for a long time.

    i got relatives in Dallas.
I was down there around sectionals time last year.
    Them Texans are crazy!!!!!
...Rodgers had to hold on the ball longer, giving players like Jared "I am completely insane and will literally eat your children" Allen time to sack Rodgers again. And again. And again. Actually I think Rodgers may have nightmares about Jared Allen the rest of the year.

    Re: The Minnesota Adrian Petersons

He has played one freakin NFL game and he is shouldering the team?
    Please
    :

The Defense is shouldering this team at the moment.
    Mainly the defensive line.
I love that AD had a great game against a mediocre Falcons D.
I think he has the potential to shoulder the team...however I think its a little soon to anoint him the savior as some did last year with TJ.

    :
Personally I would be hoping that no one has to shoulder the team because teams like that are just an injury away from a dismal season.

I wished you hadn't used the word "shouldering."
