This news conference should have ended 15 minutes ago, Tice just keeps repeating himself. Sounds like a dang politician. Nothing new though, I guess.

Just Mike Tice sounding like a first grader mixed with a dose of Madden lol.

In a nutshell he said players are trying too hard to make a play, the scheme is sound, it's the players not executing.

quickest fix for offense is daunte not turning the ball over.

Didn't say much on the defense.

Thought the line played well.

Thought the running game improved (too bad we had to move away from it because of the sccore)

Things our punter is a beast.

says we are running the same offense we have been since 92 or something and doesnt think its the scheme that is holding the offense back.

Pretty much just said we have to work on the bad things in order to get better.

Well all we have to do is "TWEAK THE SCHEME". The same scheme we have used since 92 BTW. I don't about you all but that makes me feel lots better.

Also glad to know that Tice thinks we played better this week than we did in week 1. All we have to do is stop turning the ball over and keep the other teams from scoring on us and we should be just fine.

Well I can go to sleep now knowing that the coach has a handle on things. :roll:

What a relief....I can now rest easy knowing the world is again safe for democracy...and purplehood! Can't help but notice how the decline of the Vikes began with Tice's W-hug last year.........things that make you go HMMMMM! I have been a Tice apologist but methinks it is time for him to go.

What scares me the most is it seems like Tice lost the chip on his shoulder....And it is clinging onto the rest of the team.
