I think if you get enough great people around him you won't notice how crappy of a job he does.


IMO

He holds grudges. It impairs his judgement and overall hurts the team.

He makes excuses for everything.

He doesn't seem to be good at on the field coaching.


He skipped a step in the coaching ranks and bypassed cordinating all together and not suprisingly he sucks at cordinating a team lol. It hurts your team in a few ways

#1 He can't be proactive because he doesn't know how
#2 He can't correct his cordinators because he doesn't know what a cordinator is supposed to do.

All in all if I was a Jets fan I would really pray this didnt go down.

Nice guy. Great bar companion. Over his head as an NFL HC. "With a great staff . . ." who wouldn't be great. Never would have been a HC except for strange happenings in Minn.

I think that Tice very much has the skills to make it and think that he is sometimes one of the guys too often ... though I do think that gets the players to get out there and play for him ... depends on the player though.
He definitely does seem to love certain players and hate others and it leads to some interesting personnel decisions that are not always advantageous. I think he would be fine in NY though and would get by ... just don't know if the media would keep him around to rebuild.

Well remember what happened when you guys took Doug Brien after we dumped him? Expect the same fun things from Tice!!! LOL

Tice is a moron but can coach in this league with a good staff around him. I'm not sure how much he had to do with it but he had some really good drafts while he was our coach.
