Mike McMahon the next Rich Gannon?

McMahon reminds me of Rich Gannon. I think he might have some upside. Thoughts?

mcMahon has been in a West Coast offense for his entire career. Coaches say it takes about five years to really grasp the WCO.

He kind of reminds me of a poor mans Flutie, maybe he'll get to the point where he can be a reliable backup that gives you a chance to win a couple games but not consistent enough to be a starter.

I like him.

And as I've said before, he's never been given a fair shot. He showed flashes of excellence in Detroit even though he was only given clean-up duty behind Charlie Batch and the games he played last season with the Eagles were nothing more than lame duck games by a team in disarray after the TO debacle. If he's given a chance as a Viking, he's gonna prove the naysayers wrong.
