Mike McKenzie

Okay, this is a question for the couple of Packer Fans that roam this board: does anyone know why McKenzie requested a trade? Also, the Packers drafted a CB with each of their first two picks in the draft. This seems to suggest that they are at least considering moving McKenzie.

Viking fans: would you be intersted in adding McKenzie to our stable of CBs? I'm a little leary of anyone that goes around requesting trades three years before their contract is up. Plus, even if GB does trade him, it's unlikely that they'd trade him within the division. However, we could use some depth at the CB spot, and it might be possible to get him. The question is whether or not he's worth the effort.

Why would we wan't McKenzie look at Green Bays pass defense last year. He's not that good. He's on the same caliber as Ken Irvin. and we already have Ken as a Nickel back. McKenzie has a little fame for that overtime interception. But even that was only his 4th of the year. No sacks, he's an average player. Who needs 'em

+ He's gonna want big $$$$ from whoever signs him. Also the the high hopes Tice has for B. Williams at best he would be our 3rd corner.

I can't stand the guy... mostly because he's a packer, but he just rubs me the wrong way. I think we have plently of talent in the CB position... so not only would it be an expensive acquisition but a needless one also

i'm not a big fan of his, but comparing him to Ken Irving is not fair. He's better than that.

I don't like him ! We don't need him ! Average player at best. And he would want much more money than he is worth !

awwww.....have the Packer fans finally jumped off of the Wagon? Actually you are all saving yourself a lot of heartache by giving up on the Pathetic Packers now then waiting untill they get their heads kicked in by the Vikings.
