Peter King last season spoke about Mick's "Ripken" like #'s and that he should be nominated on the senior's ballot. I heard once that the problem is he's an older player and nobody remembers him

His 240 consecutive starts are second only to Jim Marshall's 282 in the NFL record books.

All-NFL 1964-1970; All-NFC 1970.

Six Pro Bowl appearances from 1964-1969, including four starts.
One of the most dominating centers of his era.
