The "Michael Ratio"...?

Hrm, so the Randy ratio was a determination by Mike Tice - a boneheaded one - to throw the ball to Randy Moss on 40% of our offensive plays, in spite of effectiveness.

So now we have Michael Bennett, running ineffectually, with a 2.4 ypc average, but we keep handing him the ball.

Hrm...

The Randy Ratio did not work. That is why we got rid of him!

True, Bennett has been ineffective, but we dont HAVE to give him the ball 40% of the time like Tice said we had to do with Randy.

we should be handing the ball off to our RB a little more than last year, but i dont know if we should be giving it to bennett, maybe he'll prove me wrong this season but i just think moore or fason could handle the load better

I'll be the first to "Diss" Bennett right now. He dances in the whole and is not cutting it for a 1st string NFL rb ... period. He better pick it up or it's 3rd down situations only for him the rest of the year ......

Hey all you coaches... I bet you make alot of important decisions based on all your coaching expertise.... Until you actually collect a pay check, give the guys that run this team alittle more respect as they probably know more than you as to whom to start. Wait til we're into this season and Bennet has carries in the 4th qtr, and the o-line comes together as a unit.
Don't want to rag, just tired of the bashing of our players before they really have a chance to prove themselves. Tice and crew live this stuff and are better talent evaluators than we'll ever be. skol

Amen brother....I don't see a lot of other teams shelving there starting running backs because they didn't bust out for 70 yards on 2 carries, i.e Curtis Martin 2 carries 0 yards, and he led the leauge in rushing last year. Everybody relax....
