Before we rejoice in Linegan's departure, I think we should wait and see who will be his replacement, and if he develops this offense further, tries any drastic changes, or even if he jacks everything up. It's hard to improve on an offense that has been in the top 5 for the last 3 years, so I am anxious to see what the new guy tries to do.
On another thread Webby put it nicely..., a monkey could run this offense with the stars we have. I just hope whoever comes in doesn't insert a complicated offense that will take 2 years to learn and perfect. At least Tice will still be here to make the transition smoother.

Well, now that Scott Monkey-han has moved on, maybe we can hire Bubbles the Chimp...I hear that he is looking to distance himself from Michael Jackson and he just might take the job. But seriously, who's out there...besides Paul Hackett!

I'm personally sorry that Scott Linehan has gone, but I quite understand his reasons for doing so given the security that the Dolphins can offer him.

I don't agree that a monkey could make our Offense work. It's not just about allowing great talent a free reign. Daunte has come on leaps and bounds this season, and our Offense is starting to have a lot of great talent - it's not all about Moss, anymore.

Our outgoing Offensive Co-ordinator has done a great job, and I hope his successor can do as well.
